Pretzels are a classic snack, but only recently I’ve seen companies try creating interesting variations in terms of flavor. That’s why I was excited to see the Pretzel Crisps line by Snack Factory.

Whether it’s hamburger buns, bagels, Chinese chicken, crackers or snack sticks, I’m a fan of sesame-related food when it’s done right. That’s why I picked up the Sesame Pretzel Crisps.

While the crunch of these crisps were good, the flavor was just alright. Adequate. Decent.

Disappointing, because I was expecting a high grade snack.

Don’t get me wrong, I ate most of the bag and I enjoyed the experience, but I barely tasted the sesame flavor, and having personally reviewed 120+ snacks here at GuysNation, I pride myself in knowing how to find the different flavors in a snack.

The concept is good. I’ve had other pretzel-type crackers before, and this is better. It maintains the crispiness expected from a non-soft pretzel.  Great for dipping, especially with the wide surface area and only the small holes, which is different than the typical pretzel where dip / salsa / whatever will fall through.

Bottom line: Good snack, but I expected more.
