The New Jersey Devils stave off elimination in the Stanley Cup Finals, winning Game 5 two goals to one.

Zach Parise, who finished in the Top 20 in the regular season for goal scorers, got the Devils off to a 1-0 lead in the game, his first point scored in the series.

Justin Williams scored the lone goal for the Kings, netting a wrister early in the second period. At the time, the goal tied the game. Brodeur stopped the other 25 shots he faced.

The game winning goal was put past Jonathan Quick by Devils defenseman Bryce Salvador.

Game 6 will take place Monday night, June 11th at 8 pm EST. This is the first time since 1945 that a team has forced Game 6 after trailing 3-0 in the Stanley Cup Finals.
