Hopefully you made it this far and that the title of this article didn’t send you walking elsewhere after a sigh.
The trailer I just finished watching for a rebirth / reboot of the Mortal Kombat franchise had me in awe.
It seriously looks like something out of CSI mixed with the production values of Watchmen or some of the other well-produced comic book movies as of late.

If you’re not the least bit hyped by this trailer, then you likely weren’t a Mortal Kombat fan at all, because this looks amazing.
I don’t have any details on when it’s supposed to hit theaters, but when it does, I’m there.
I just heard that apparently that trailer is being shopped around to see if a studio wants to pick it up and make a full length movie based on that trailed. So, I imagine it isn’t even really in production right now, more just looking for a studio to let them make it.
From what I’ve heard, anyway.
