2. “Fast Five” (Universal): $32.4 million domestic (down 62%) International total: $86.6 million.

3. “Jumping the Broom” (Sony): $15.2 million domestic

4. “Something Borrowed” (Warner Bros./Alcon): $13.9 million domestic.

5. “Rio” (20th Century Fox): $8.5 million domestic (down 45%). International total: $16.2 million.


6. “Water for Elephants” (20th Century Fox): $6 million domestic (down 40%). International total: $11.1 million.

7. “Tyler Perry’s Madea’s Big Happy Family” (Lionsgate): $4.17 million in its third weekend, down 60%. Domestic total: $46.8 million.

8. “Soul Surfer” (Sony/FilmDistrict): $2.3 million in its fifth weekend, down 38%. Domestic total: $36.7

9. “Prom” (Disney): $2.2 million in its second weekend, down 49%. Domestic total: $7.8 million.

10. “Hoodwinked Too! Hood vs. Evil” (Weinstein Co./Kanbar): $2 million in its second weekend, down 54%. Domestic total: $6.7 million.]

What movie fan didn’t love THE ASSASSINATION OF JESSE JAMES BY THE COWARD ROBERT FORD? Well now Brad Pitt is being reunited with its director, Andrew Dominik, for a movie called Cogan’s Trade.
