Jeremy Renner, who has a role as Hawkeye in the upcoming AVENGERS movie, has been offered a role in the next film in the Bourne saga. He won’t be playing Jason Bourne, but rather the lead character as the series switches its focus. (source: Deadline)

Avatar did have the biggest box office opening day in Hong Kong film history… until a 3D porn called 3D Sex And Zen toppled it. (Source: Spinoff)

Arguably the most popular (and most important) graphic novel in D.C. Comics history, Batman: Year One by Frank Miller, is getting the animated feature treatment. It’s apparently so good that Bryan Cranston, award winning actor who voices Lt. Jim Gordon in the movie, was “stunned”. (Source: ComicBookResources)

Morgan Spurlock, who you might remember from SUPER SIZE ME, has a new movie out which is a clever flick about advertising in movies. Brian Kelley of Gordon And The Whale (and close friend of GuysNation’s founder) wrote a review which you should read before deciding whether or not to see it.

Sony Pictures is doing a remake of TOTAL RECALL and the cast is growing, including Colin Farrell and Kate Beckinsale (Source: Deadline)

Following AVENGERS, Marvel already has plans for a handful of movies to follow it up with a lot of the characters. Captain America and Thor will have their own sequel films, and Marvel wants another “group” film using S.H.I.E.L.D. as its driving force, which will likely add force to potential Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson from Iron Man 2) and Hawkeye films which they also hope to produce.
