The Indianapolis Colts have been trying to find a starting running back on their roster, and today they got one from another team. And a star running back at that.

An injury to Vick Ballard which ended his season increased the need for a rusher in the backfield. Today, the Indianapolis Colts came to terms with the Cleveland Browns to obtain their star, Trent Richardson. According to the trade involved Indy’s First Round draft pick for 2014.

Trent Richardson was taken third overall in the 2012 draft by the Cleveland Browns. He rushed for 950 yards in his rookie season with 11 touchdowns, adding another score in the passing game, where he had 367 yards on 51 receptions. So far this year, Richardson has 105 rushing yards on 31 carries, with 51 yards receiving on 7 catches.
