Okay, hello, my name is Mark Chapman and this is my first GuysNation post. I am a writer (mostly Science Fiction and Fantasy), hunter, and all-around Redneck. I am sitting at Smith Mountain Lake, sipping 15 year old Glenfiddich and wishing that I had not left my cigars at home for the weekend. I have been married for almost 4 years; yes, I know that is not very long, but I skipped my first wedding and went straight to my second wedding figuring it would save me money and time. I am an avid fan of the Washington CAPS!!! I am an avid fan of Dallas Cowboys!!!! My wife and I work with a rescue organization for German Shepherds (www.shepherdrescue.org) Virginia German Shepherd Rescue (VGSR). I am a NASCAR nut and I follow Jr. and Jamie McMurray mostly along with Mark Martin and Tony Stewart. Hunting is not only one of my passions it is a lifestyle; every Saturday in the fall, you can find me in the woods chasing tail; whitetail deer, turkey, and anything else I am allowed to hunt by law. I believe strongly in the first and second amendments…everyone should exercise them often. I am looking forward to getting into some discussions with the other authors and readers on GuysNation.
