Millions of people own the Red Dead Redemption video game for either Sony’s PlayStation 3 system or Microsoft’s X-Box 360. It received an “Incredible” ranking from IGN.com and is widely considered to be a top contender for any of the video game awards for which it would be in the running.

It should come as a surprise to no one that someone in Hollywood wants to take this video game and turn it into a movie, and according to some sources, a contender to play the lead role has been identified, and it’s one of Hollywood’s top leading men: Brad Pitt.

The plotline of Red Dead Redemption centers around John Marston, a former outlaw who is looking to redeem himself against the members of his former gang who left him for dead. He was brought to a doctor by a local rancher, and as he recovers from his injuries he helps out on the farm while he plots his revenge.
There is no word as of yet whether or not Brad Pitt would accept the role, or who the other leading candidates would be for Marston or any other characters, but in the coming days GuysNation.com will provide some of our suggestions.
