BROKEN WINGS: Back in April, we liked the Angels to finish with the best record in baseball and the only one with more than 100 wins. Woops. Photo courtesy Stephen Brashear/Getty Images
Here at GuysNation, we’re all about accountability. Okay, that’s a lie. However, it is fun to see how your bold predictions six months ago stack up.
The simple answer is, the results were mixed. While we PREDICTED TWO RECORDS PERFECTLY, we also got the Oakland Athletics wrong by more than 40 games. But hey, who didn’t, right?
However, we took this look back a step further and arbitrarily assigned a grade scale for how many games the predictions were off. From A-F, just like in school, we managed to hit the whole scale over the course of 30 teams. But enough explaining, just take a look for yourself:
Grades For Predictions
Correct Prediction = A+
Within 3 Games = A
Within 5 Games = A-
Within 7 Games = B+
Within 10 Games = B
Within 12 Games = B-
Within 15 Games = C+
Within 18 Games = C
Within 20 Games = C-
Within 22 Games = D+
Within 25 Games = D
Within 30 Games = D-
31 Games or More = F
