According to WWE.com, “Superstar” (a term they use… and I begrudgingly echo) David Otunga has won a pro bono legal case. Initially my suspicion was that it was just a storyline thing to give Otunga some additional out-of-ring credibility, but something about the story is reason to believe it’s legit.
The case was against the New York State Department Of Labor.
A website which gets as much traffic as WWE.com would be foolish to claim wrong-doing by a government organization that big. They’d be begging for a lawsuit themselves.
One claim I’m not inclined to believe is where Otunga claims to have an undefeated courtroom record with 20 victories without a defeat.
