The event starts with the tag team championship match.
I was glad they actually televised the match this year, as they’ve failed to do in the past. I don’t even care that it’s the opening contest because I had expected a good match with lots of fast paced action, but that’s not really what I got.
It was a decent match for a couple minutes, nothing special, just the typical moves from R Truth and a little action from John Morrison, but then Big Show pulled The Miz out of the way of Morrison’s corkscrew moonsault, and as the match continued, The Miz made a tag just as Morrison was mounting a good comeback. Big Show hit Morrison in the face from the apron and scored the pinfall.
MizShow retain the belts, though the match could’ve been longer / better. I guess a short tag match is better than no tag match.
