If you’re excited for next year’s Tomb Raider reboot, Crystal Dynamics has just given you more reasons to get excited. Yesterday they revealed the details on preorder bonuses and from the looks of it, there seems to be a tiered content systems in place similar to what Call of Duty has done the past couple of years. Stage 1 is currently happening now with the second stage ready to hit in December. I don’t know if at that point, Stage 1 is locked like how Call of Duty does it, but if you’re interested in any of these items, I’d probably move sooner than later just in case. Lets break it down shall we?

If GameStop is your place, here’s what will be waiting for you:
Stage 1: Preordering the game now will net you the “Challenge Tomb” which is an all new area to explore filled with puzzles that will test your abilities.

Stage 2: Announced December 18

Stage 3: Announced sometime in January

Moving on, here’s what Amazon is offering for your cash:
Stage 1: More of an external content package offering, if you preorder at Amazon you’ll be getting a 32 page art book assembled by Art Director Brian Horton, “The Final Hours of Tomb Raider”, which is a behind the scenes look at the game’s development made in the style of a documentary, and a “Hunter Skin” for Lara in-game which sees her coated with mud action movie style.

Stage 2: Announced December 18

Stage 3: Announced sometime in January

Last up is Best Buy. Here’s their content:
Stage 1: Best Buy is offering a 48 page comic book called Tomb Raider: The Beginnings, which shows the prequel story to the game. It’s written by Rhianna Pratchett, who wrote the game’s story and the art is done by Art Director, Brian Horton. Finally, players will also gain access to the “Aviatrix Skin” for Lara which dresses her up as a classic 1930’s adventurer complete with a leather bomber jacket. Think Indiana Jones without the hat and less Harrison Ford.

Stage 3: Announced sometime in January
