Fans of UFC / WWE / MMA / Strikeforce, there’s a fight card on tonight that you’ll want to tune in for, so I hope you have Showtime, know someone who does, or can find a sports bar showing the event.

Mo Lawal and Rafael Feijao

“King Mo” Muhammad Lawal attempts to defend the Strikeforce Light Heavyweight Championship against Rafael “Feijao” Cavalcante in the main event.  Cavalcante is on a tear, winning five of his last six.  The champion, “King Mo” Lawal, undefeated in 7 bouts and coming off of a huge win against MMA legend Gegard Mousasi, is an NCAA Division I wrestling All American who was considered the best wrestler in the United States from 2007 to 2008.

Bobby Lashley and Chad Griggs

WWE fans will be interested to see former World Champion Bobby Lashley, undefeated in 5 MMA fights, as he’s set to face Chad Griggs – who has first-round knockouts in 6 of the victories on his 8-1 resume.

Tim Kennedy and Ronaldo Souza

The Middleweight Title vacated when Jake Shields left for UFC is on the line as Tim Kennedy (12-2) brings his 4 fight win-streak in against Judo/BJJ black belt Ronaldo Souza (also 12-2).  Tim Kennedy is a former sniper for U.S. Special forces and has been called “one of MMA’s fastest rising stars”.  Souza is a world-renowned grappler with multiple jiu-jitsu championships on his resume.

The final fight of Showtime’s televised portion of the card is K.J. Noons (9-2 with a 5 fight win streak) against BJJ black belt Jorge Gurgel (13-6 with two Fight Of The Night honors from UFC).

Fights start at 10 pm, don’t miss out!

The Cormier-Riley and Galvao-Patino bouts will be streamed LIVE on Sherdog.com.
