I’ve kept track of the movies I’ve seen in 2010, and instead of traditional write-ups, I’ve got one sentence reviews that include my rating of the movie on a scale of 1 to 5 stars, the date I saw it and the format I saw it in, be it the theater, DVD or otherwise.
I’ll be posting these five at a time throughout the remainder of the year.
As you can see this article doesn’t start with “1”, you might click the “One Sentence Reviews” tag under the title of this article to see the others.
36 – Taking Woodstock (* *) – Maybe I should’ve taken a hit of acid before watching this one. [6/8/2010, Format: Blu-ray]
37 – Law Abiding Citizen (* * * *) – I actually found myself rooting for Gerard Butler. [6/15/2010, Format: Netflix Online]
38 – Legion (* * *) – It reminded me of a more violent and darker version of Kevin Smith’s Dogma. [6/26/2010, Format: Blu-ray]
39 – Eclipse (* *) – I thought that it was slightly better than the previous two. [7/5/2010, Format: Theater]
40 – Toy Story 3 (* * * * *) – It was the perfect adventure for “Andy’s toys”. [7/6/2010, Format: Theater]
I’ve only seen one of these (and at most, I think I’ll ever hit 3), and maybe I’m wrong, but I think we were supposed to root for Gerard Butler in Law Abiding Citizen. I surely did.
