With extended news coverage during extreme snowstorms, sometimes good news sources are hard to come by when staffing is limited. As NBC News 4 in Washington D.C. tried to cover the blizzard of mid-January, they got a call from a guy who pretended to be a member of the Virginia Department of Transportation, but as he started mentioning prostitutes, it was obvious to people who were paying attention that he probably wasn’t a VDOT employee, but hilariously, the news anchors didn’t seem to notice.
How great is it that they didn’t seem to figure it out until after whatever break they took? Something tells me that the guy in the truck waving at the camera knew…
Now to find those hotel bars they were talking about near the end.
