Today is it! Selection Sunday is here and we are just hours away from knowing how the NCAA tournament bracket will look. Until then, though, we won’t stop speculating. In fact, we won’t even slow down.

After Saturday, the field, as for who is in and who is out, is pretty much set. Or, at the very least, nothing today will weigh on any bubble decisions very heavily. Where Sunday is important, however, is seeding. There’s plenty of sliding up and down that can take place and, oh, by the way, did we mention there’s probably still one last #1 seed up for grabs?

Yes, that is what Sunday is for. And that is why after all the games have been played but just before the Selection Show on CBS begins, I will have one last, final bracket projection. But that’s all about what is yet to happen today. This latest bracket is a result of Saturday. Here are the noteworthy points, though, first:

-Providence took any doubt out of their bubble status by going ahead and winning the Big East. That would be your Providence Friars that are 2014 Big East champions. Did we mention this conference is just not the same before being blown up?

-Michigan and Virginia will both won in the semis of their respective conference tournaments yesterday so both still feel like the strongest arguments for the last #1 seed. If one loses and one wins, you may have your answer.

-UCLA beat Arizona for the Pac-12 Championship and the Bruins are just white-hot right now. I have as a #4 seed on here, probably about the highest we can expect them to be, but make no mistake: they’re playing like a #1 seed.
