Time to Haiku the News.  You know you love it.  It’s the only entertaining way to enjoy the news… aside from Stephen Colbert & Jon Stewart.

Oh Tutankhamen
Brittle bones, malaria
took you down so young

I’m not sure entirely why it matters what the cause of King Tutankhamen’s death was, since it occurred 2300 years ago, halfway across the globe, but it is fascinating to me that even now, scientists and doctors can do a little bit of testing and determine that the reason he died was due to malaria.

BBC has some interesting video on the story.  As it’s not on YouTube, I’m not quite sure how to embed the video on GuysNation, but hopefully you enjoy it anyway.  http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/health/8518584.stm

The New York Times is where I initially heard about the story, so let’s give them some props too.  http://www.nytimes.com/2010/02/17/science/17tut.html

As a bonus for any of you actually reading this, you might be happy to note that in the New York Times article, you can learn that King Tut was apparently “well endowed”.
