The concept of the “Historical What-If” is something I usually find really interesting. Typically it’s with a military decision or battle outcome, and I end up not having enough background knowledge to fully appreciate it. But this time, it’s different, because I might not be an expert, but I know quite a bit about NFL football, especially the games played over the past 15 years. The Super Bowl loss that came down to a goal line play where the Seattle Seahawks ended up failing to score provides a great example for a Guypothetical.
Although I don’t think it was a terrible decision to call a passing play, it’s definitely an interesting discussion to have. KTO addressed the topic in a video that I found fascinating. Ignoring the two advertisements along the way and see if you enjoy it as much as I do. Because the analysis goes beyond just saying that the Seahawks would have likely won that Super Bowl.
There were a couple things along the way that I’m not sure I agree with, but overall it’s quite an interesting discussion.
