bwallace wrote: What did you think of Warrior I enjoyed it, a lot, and I really got invested in both characters. That said, I was thinking about the fact that my dad won't watch it because he doesn't like the hyper-aggressive nature of MMA, and I was going to explain the plot to him... but when you think about the way the story transpires, it sounds a bit TOO fictional. Everything basically falls into place.

It was stirringly emotional, hard-hitting, featured great acting, and had a couple National songs in it. RobB, in 2011 I worked for Blockbuster, well half the year until my store closed. I set a goal of averaging a brand new movie watched every day for the entire year. Some days I'd watch multiple movies, which allowed me to bank them. I think I finished up around December 17th with the full year and then some. I watched a lot of terrible movies in that time, just because they'd count. I was going to try to do it again this year, will the rules being more lax, just any movie would do, whether I had seen it already or not. I lost steam a few times, but I think I'm close to 150 or so movies so far.

I have a friend out in Austin who does this... though I have no clue how he finds so many movies to watch (I think some of his friends have Netflix and they have "themed" nights where people bring in movies to watch or whatever). His totals are huge every year. I've done this now for at least 3 years, though I'm having trouble tracking down the information from 2010. Each year I hit 100 or so, which means I can really appreciate what it takes to hit over 300!
