Starting next week, ill be doing a question and answer section on Fantasy Football here on GuysNation.com. Exclusive to the site, ill be taking your questions and answering them in next weeks column. So if you have any questions on a young player for a keeper league, who to start, who to sit, please leave your scoring system details, and your players in question. I will do my best to answer all the questions for you. So please, submit your questions for the upcoming week, which is wk 12. If you have any questions on the Thanksgiving Games (GB @ DET, OAK @ DAL or NYG @ DEN) please refrain from them, since the column wont be up till after Thanksgiving.
Thanks a lot for the questions you will be submitting and good luck to you trying to make your fantasy playoffs!
am I destined to get screwed because I have:
Adrian Peterson and Bret Favre, Reggie Wayne who’s teams may have their playoff positioning locked up going into fantasy playoff time?
yeah its more of a rhetorical question.
For the Peterson and Farve thing, i would have to say no. Wayne, all depends on what the Colts keep doing. Tune in next week for those answers, and keep sending in questions!
Maybe Rob knows this, but Chris Cooley is in my waiver pool. Any chance he plays again this year? I’m thinking of gambling, I am 8, of 12 in waivers anyway…
please advise.
Cooley was supposed to come back sooner or later this season, its why he wasnt IRed. However if you want to take a jump on him, take him after the waiver period is over, usually on Wednesday and keep your 8/12 spot incase you need it later on, or hope people ahead of you use the spot so you can move on up. I would say grab him, get him on your bench, and dont start him when he comes back, wait a week to see what he will give you.
Start Sit question of hte utmost importance:
Start one of the following:
Reggie Wayne
Josh Cribbs
Maurice Morris
for the first 12 weeks of the season? Not an issue. Now htat Indy has homefield through out, AND Reggie is a little dinged up? Huge problem. Cribbs has been a beast. Maurice Morris iwll touch the ball a lot since Kevin Smith went down.
Ok, Jacksonville has horrific Pass-D and they say they are going to rest the starters…even knowing that, you have to go with Wayne.
Cribbs is to hit and miss and Morris at best will be in a time share at DET for the rest of the year. Plus ARZ is tough on the run.
Tim, you should start a new column each week, giving some random thoughts, then leaving it open to questions.
