I’m not a fan of Harry’s Law.
To be more accurate, I’ve never seen Harry’s Law. I don’t know if it’s a good show or not, but I will absolutely be watching on Wednesday, January 11 at 9 pm, and if you’re a fan of attractive women or comic book superheroes, so should you.
I was interested in a Wonder Woman television series for various reasons, not the least of which being Adrianne Palicki in skin-tight clothes, and even though I knew it was likely to be a train wreck, I was sad when the show got canned without even giving us a look at the pilot.
Having very much enjoyed her BODY of work on SMALLVILLE, it makes me very happy to hear that on the January 11th episode of HARRY’S LAW, Erica Durance (who portrayed budding reporter Lois Lane on the CW series) will wear the Wonder Woman costume.
I’ve hidden some slightly spoilerific basic information as to the in-story reason she wears the costume underneath the slider-bar. I will say that it doesn’t sound like the show has jumped the shark.
TVLine describes Durance’s role as “a psychologically infirm woman who retreats into the persona of the DC Comics heroine to help wreak revenge on perpetrators of domestic abuse”. So she’s not actually portraying Wonder Woman, she just portrays a woman who wears the suit, calls herself Wonder Woman, but is actually dealing with some mental issues.
If you can’t appreciate a knock-out beauty like Erica Durance wearing the hot, updated Amazonian costume that David E Kelley meant for use in his failed Wonder Woman series, then I don’t know what to tell you. Hopefully her work on Harry’s Law leads to a multi-episode storyline arc for her, or at the very least adds to her resume and finds her more work. She’s beautiful and talented and we’d like to see her around, now that we can’t enjoy her work in Smallville anymore.
