It’s becoming one of the more popular concepts in Hollywood: the Zombie apocalypse.

The undead rise up with a hunger for brains and a few remaining individuals are forced to find a way to survive.

As most (recent) zombie stories involve a plague-type virus which causes the undead-issues, it’s only natural that the Center For Disease Control would be involved in trying to prevent or stop a zombie apocalypse if it did become a potential threat in non-fiction.

It would seem that with the concept’s increasing popularity and their inevitable role in solving the problem were it to become a reality, the CDC has decided to actually release a Public Health Matters awareness plan relating to a zombie apocalypse.
