The original trilogy focused primarily on Luke Skywalker, Han Solo and Princess Leia. The second trilogy (the regrettable prequels) turned attention to Obi-Wan Kenobi, Anakin Skywalker, and Padme Amidala. For the core set of films, that focus made sense, but the Star Wars Universe has provided plenty of characters whose stories could make considerably interesting material for films. Here’s a few that come to mind:

Boba Fett

Arguably the most famous bounty hunter in cinema history (at least prior to Django Unchained), Boba Fett is the obvious choice of characters for this list. Despite not having many scenes, he plays an integral role in the original trilogy and amassed a serious cult following. “Boba Fett? Boba Fett?” Clearly his reputation preceded him with Han Solo, and his ending shortly after that quote… didn’t do him justice. Neither did his involvement in the prequel trilogy. Give this man a trilogy of his own in the style of superhero (or anti-hero) films. I’d be surprised if he didn’t get a couple films over the next decade.

Wedge Antilles

Don’t recognize the name? You should, as he served as a fighter pilot in battles in all three of the original Star Wars trilogy films. How many pilots can say they survived the original attack of the Death Star AND the second one, two films later? Surely one biopic could be devoted to Wedge regarding his early days in becoming a great fighter pilot and his reasoning for becoming a member of the Rebel Alliance instead of the Empirial Forces.

General Grievous

The tale of how he collected all of his lightsabers would be interesting enough. Add in his backstory before his robotic parts became integrated as a life-support system and ass-kicking-assisting system thanks in part to some key manipulation from Count Dooku, and that could be a really cool movie (or multiple films in a series).

Mace Windu

Seriously, Samuel L Jackson as a Jedi? Imagine the potential. If you think Anakin Skywalker had trouble conforming to the Jedi Code, you could take that to the next level with Mace Windu, a bad-ass enforcer at heart. No matter how you push his buttons, this guy doesn’t turn to the Dark Side.

Darth Revan and Darth Malak

If you haven’t played the Knights Of The Old Republic video games, then you’re probably not familiar with these names. TRUST ME WHEN I SAY THIS: The story put together (which I won’t get into here) which involves these two characters would make GREAT content for at least one trilogy. I wouldn’t be surprised, if it were done right, if that trilogy was better than either of the other two Star Wars trilogies.

Yoda

When Luke Skywalker finally encounters the Jedi Master, he’s a shell of his former self and nearing the end of his physical life. To start The Phantom Menace, Yoda is already around 800 years old (give or take a decade) and is a well-respected Jedi Master. Clearly a great fighter even at that point in his life, one can only imagine how the first few centuries of Yoda’s life might have gone, and unlike other characters whose actors would make it tough to create a movie at this point, Yoda’s not so constrained.

Who would you pick?

Out of the characters listed above, who would you pick for a film of their own?

Take Our Poll

Now it’s time for the other side of the coin: popular characters who do NOT deserve a spin-off film!

Let’s face it, the killer alien from the movie Predator was a bad-ass. Not only could he destroy some shit, but he looked cool as hell, too. That is, until he opens his mouth, and then he just looks like a nasty killer.

So why not ride around town on your motorcycle with a helmet designed to look like Predator?

Exactly.

For a base price of $780, you can sport a product which they claim isn’t DOT / street legal… but with all the people I’ve seen riding around without a helmet, I’m not sure whether that matters or not.

Added features?

Those three super-bright red LED’s you see in the pic? For $119 they’ll add something on there so they act like lasers you can aim with.

Smoked face shield, so you can see them but they can’t see you. $59

Top level airbrushing. $399 – they say that they’ll contact you, but you might want to take a look at this first:

So who wants one? You can get them here.

Being one of the top Adult Stars in England & Ireland wasn’t enough for sexy blonde, Tanya Tate. The multi-award winning star has made the leap “across the pond” and has made her presence felt in the United States with the scorching hot sex scenes that have made her a popular performer in the U.K. The Liverpool-born beauty made the transition into porn in 2008, when the former office worker decided on a whim that she wanted to spice up her life. Since then, she has grown from an adult actress to a sought after director, producer, and one of the hardest working businesswomen in the industry.

Tanya Tate also loves to dress up as her favourite superhero and has her own “safe-for-work” blog JustaLottaTanya.com where she shares her love of all things geek. Since JustaLottaTanya was launched, Tanya has attained several geek titles in recognition of her exploits from noted mainstream entertainment websites:

Comic Impact - Cosplay Girl of the Month,

Critiques 4 Geeks - Geek Babe of the Month,

Comics Ninja -Cosplay Babe of the Month and

Panels on Pages - Fan Girl of the Month.

At 5’6″, 126lbs, Tanya surprisingly resembles many of the classic blonde beauties that you see gracing your comic book page. Rather it is the invisible vixen Sue, Storm, The enticing telepath, Emma Frost or the voice of the JLA, Black Canary. The thing that I love about Tanya is the fact that this isn’t just surface geekiness. This is a real love for the culture as she covers everything from toys to conventions. You don’t believe me, check out her safe for work blog, JustaLottaTanya.com. Fellas she is the rare girl that we look for. Porn star looks and a understanding of your reasons for dressing up as Space Ghost every once and a while. Recently I had a chance to send a few questions over to Tanya for the readers here at Guysnation. I hope you enjoy.

Mr. Incredible: So how did you get into the adult entertainment business?

Tanya Tate: I was a bored office worker that wanted a change of pace. Almost sounds like the script of an adult movie, LOL

Mr. Incredible: How did you make the transition to directing?

Tanya Tate: It was something I had wanted to do, a way of exploring the fantasies I had. While in adult I have tried a lot of new things, but I wanted to create an environment where I could really let loose and that’s where the idea came from. Filly Films gave me the opportunity and I have been having a great time directing.

Mr. Incredible: What inspired you to do Star Factory PR?

Tanya Tate: Opportunity. I was a client of Star Factory PR under the previous owners and knew firsthand how important publicity and public relations was. So when a situation arose where I could take the reins and be that positive influence on the careers of others; I took it. I am very fortunate that I have a well experienced support team in place to help me become stronger in this field.

Mr. Incredible: Now how did you get into the whole Cosplay thing?

Very Fantastic Four

Tanya Tate: I have always had a fascination with superheroes, but when I lived in England I never felt confident about expressing myself through Cosplay. When I came to America, I happened to be in San Diego during Comic-Con and I fell in love. It was an awesome experience and immersed myself in it.

Mr. Incredible: It seems that there are a growing number of adult actresses that are very geeky, why do you think that is?

Tanya Tate: I think some have always been. But now it has become very acceptable to express themselves in this manner. Like I was featured on the cover of AVN magazine because of it. Hustler did a “day in the life” on me at a convention. So, it really has become rather accepted.

Mr. Incredible: Do you ever find yourself defending your geekiness because of your adult entertainment career?

Tanya Tate: Not really. I think I have established myself very well as being legitimate. People know who I am and accept it.

Mr. Incredible: Would you ever do or direct a Cosplay theme movie?

Tanya Tate: You never know. I don’t really want to mix my Cosplay with adult entertainment, though.

Mr. Incredible: Who are some of your fav. people to Cosplay as?

Tanya Tate: Emma Frost. She’s a bad girl gone good. I can relate.

Mr. Incredible: Thank you for taking time out to answer some questions, is there anything that you would like to let the fans know?

Tanya Tate: Interested people can find my naughty videos on my NSFW website TanyaTate.com. But for those that want to see my geeky/Cosplay side it’s JustaLottaTanya.com. I can also be followed on Twitter; Twitter.com/TanyaTate.

If you’re a guy and you don’t appreciate art, be prepared to start. When he’s not working on the graphic aspects of various internationally famous video games, artist Scott Campbell spends his free time creating some fun artwork recreating confrontations (or “showdowns”) from the world of cinema. On his website, he describes his work thusly:

“Since the beginning of time, there has been struggle. The epic clash of being against being. Tyrannosaurus Rex vs. Triceratops. Giant Squid vs. the Sperm Whale. The Circle vs. the Square.

The struggle is forever. It makes the world turn around. These are the struggles that make us stop what we are doing and sort of check things out… wondering what the eff.

This is a chronicling of some of the greatest confrontations in FILM HISTORY. The greatest moments of melee. These are the GREAT SHOWDOWNS.

And they sort of enjoy that they are the great showdowns.

…scott c.”

Because we want you to know about his artwork, we’re sharing a few of them here:

Gamer Girl : Heavenly Skies

Mr. Incredible: Alrighty Rating Boost fans, Mr. Incredible is back with another hot interview with a hot woman after your own heart. Now not only is she sexy…but she is also a gamer. I know, I know…perfect right. So without farther adieu, let me introduce to you Heavenly Skies.

Heavenly Skies: Oh lawd that was cute lol No prob

Mr. Incredible: Well, let me continue with the buttering up and say…the only other women that I have interviewed have been 2 pornstars, a Sex Blog writer…and a Cosplay vixen. Which by all account makes you one of the more normal ones.

Heavenly Skies: I would think so, but I may partake in a combination of all of their areas except it’s kept behind doors lol

Mr. Incredible: LOL, I just heard the sounds of a bunch of geeks Googling you as we speak.

Heavenly Skies : lol Uh oh. Well nothing much would return in the results under this alias which is awesome

Mr. Incredible: Well, then let us continue on this lovely path then. How long have you been a gamer?

Heavenly Skies: I’ve been playing video games since Atari actually sooooooooo basically since I was a little kid growing up.

Mr. Incredible: Any fav. games from that time in your life?

Heavenly Skies: Dig Dug, Boulder Dash, Donkey Kong of course and there was another one with birds but I can’t even remember it but it was awesome lol

Mr. Incredible: LOL, So would you conisder yourself a hardcore gamer or more of a casual gamer?

Heavenly Skies: I think I would consider myself more of a hardcore gamer simply because I get into it more than just gaming but I’m also a clan leader lol I figure once you stop just gaming and take it to the next level in such a way then it becomes more than casual. It’s actually like a second job.

Mr. Incredible: Do you find that as a female clan leader, you may not be taken seriously as a male clan leader?

Heavenly Skies: I really couldn’t care less. People know I’m serious when I do what I say I’m going to do. I’ve held plenty of tournaments and have given out over 6000 Microsoft points as well as games and other prizes. Right now the tournament I’m holding is for a RE6 preorder which there will be two winners and one has already been confirmed. I think once people see that I’m about my business then if they didn’t take me seriously before then they definitely would now.

Mr. Incredible: You sound like you may game with a little chip on your shoulders.

Heavenly Skies: Not at all. I don’t do anything to prove myself to anyone, I’m just a firm believer in my word being relied upon.

Mr. Incredible: So is it safe to assume you are more Call of Duty then Lollipop Chainsaw.

Heavenly Skies: Most def lol Lollipop chainsaw was one of the worst and cheesy games I’ve ever played. I’ll play MW2 over that any day. Notice I don’t mention MW3 that’s on purpose, lol.

Heavenly Skies Gaming Disappointments

Mr. Incredible: What was your view on MW3, since you have brought it up.

Heavenly Skies: One of the worst purchases I’ve ever made. I waited almost 2 hours for the midnight release to be able to get the hardened edition only to find out the game was shitty. It was the most frustrating experience ever next to the midnight release of Guitar Hero World Tour only to get home and find out that the drums didn’t work and that 90% of them were faulty yeah very disappointing to say the least.

Mr. Incredible: So would you say that Battlefield 3 was the better choice?

Heavenly Skies: Definitely not. I’d play MW3 before BF3, lol. I’m not a fan of anything about BF3.

Mr. Incredible: Wow, ok, So I take it you are a first person shooter type of person.

Heavenly Skies: Yeah I used to play Rainbow Six a lot and that was cool. I’m thinking they have a new one coming out and I might check it out even though it’s 3rd.

Mr. Incredible: What do you think of games like Borderlands and Mass Effect that blend FPS with Roleplaying?

Heavenly Skies: I was a huge ME fan until this last one killed the franchise. I also love Borderlands and can’t wait for the 2nd one to release I already have it preordered and I never preorder games.

Mr. Incredible: What about Borderlands grab at you?

Heavenly Skies: At first I hated it because when you start you’re given a lame weapon and it sucks but as you progress the weapons get better and it becomes more challenging. The “rare” weapons also stood out as a unique thing to add to the game because it made you want to do more fighting in hopes of obtaining them. Eventually that got old when everyone started modding and making super weapons but other than that it was different.

Mr. Incredible: Did you go and get the DLCs for the game?

Heavenly Skies: Yeah and they were lame lol Most of them the Mad Moxxi one being the worst. But I got the achievement for it.

“Ok, ok, I think we are gonna stop right here. This Gamer Girl is a little too sexy for Handsome Jack not to step in and occupy her time. Maybe after she sees what the Borderland King has to offer she may come back to you….NOT!!!!!”

Lets not beat around the bush here, Activision’s annual FPS powerhouse and money printer, Call of Duty, is making a return this year with Black Ops II and it’s posed to be a huge hit again. For most people, the major draw is multiplayer and as we move closer to it’s November release date, the small trickle of information is quickly turning into a flood. With Gamescom taking place last week in Germany, Black Ops II is letting loose with big changes to help mix up the familiar feel from previous entries in the series. Lets take a closer look:

Let us start things with a major change: Killstreaks are out. I’ll wait a minute to let that sink in…

For anyone that’s played a previous Call of Duty game online starting with CoD4, you know that Killstreaks are one of the biggest aspects to multiplayer. Chaining kills together without dying gives you better and better rewards to help in dominating your foes. In an effort to attract gamers of all types outside of the hardcore users, Modern Warfare 3 tried to mix things up by offering different types of streak bonuses to appeal to different players. Treyarch instead is completely overhauling the system opting to remove Killstreaks completely and replace them with a Score Streak system. Instead of kills counting towards rewards, now any major actions from kills, assists, team oriented actions, etc, will give the player (and team) points. When hitting a certain threshold of points, abilities will be able to be used.

So why the huge change? Well, Treyarch believes moving to Score Streaks will help in two areas. The first being it should help less competitive players help their team and contribute to the goal while rewarding them with rewards they normally would have a tough time achieving. The other belief is that it’ll help drive players to accomplish goals more than camping or focusing solely on kills.

Livestreaming is also making it’s grand debut with Black Ops II.

In a move that I hope takes off for games in the future, Treyarch is allowing players to livestream their game on the internet whether from a console or PC. Black Ops II will also have USB camera support for those of you wanting to film yourself at the same time. While this practice is very easy to do on PC, it’s virtually unheard of on the console side and I’m really hoping this feature becomes a staple going forward. If done right, it could really revolutionize multiplayer gaming down the road.

Not interested in livestreaming? Not a problem as Treyarch is also adding the ability to Shoutcast. It’s just as easy to set up as all it requires is the press of a button and you’re off. For those that don’t know, shoutcasting is extremely popular in eSports and competitive gaming and it’s basically a way to act as a commentator during a match. Players will also be able to get their John Madden on in the Theater mode for matches that have previously been played.

Lastly, the character customization has been revamped from the ground up. Referred to as “Pick-10″, this system will give players complete freedom when customizing a class. You’re given 10 points to spend any way you want. Want to spend all of your points on perks? Go for it, though you won’t have a secondary gun or tactical items, but hey, you can always scavenge the battlefield for guns, right? Maybe you want only 1 perk and a lot of items to bring with you. Not a problem. There are new features called “Wildcards” that you can spend points on essentially acting as modifiers allowing players to do things like add a third attachment to a weapon or select an additional perk. It’s a rule breaker, man. This system really opens up the gameplay and should provide some really unique and interesting builds from the community, something that Treyarch is really hoping for.

I have to really hand it to Treyarch. Combined with the different things they’re doing with the campaign and now these changes to the well-loved multiplayer, they’re really trying to reignite and bring innovation to Call of Duty. Something which I feel has been lacking lately. I’m definitely curious to see what else they have up their sleeves in terms of tweaks, updates, and new content. I’m sure we have not yet seen everything.

Usually, Lt. Uhura and Seven of Nine are the only people allowed to wear tight outfits when it comes to Star Trek, but one designer is working to change that with a line of Trek-themed latex. The new gear is headed to Montreal Comic Con this fall, and we’ve got a sneak peek. These sexy geek threads come courtesy of Poison Candy Latex, who’ll be launching the line in Montreal Sept. 12-14. As you can see, they owe much more to The Next Generation than The Original Series, but you still have the option of going for the skirt or the pants.

And there you have it. Another set of gifts for your geeks that will put a smile on their face and a little pep in their hard drives. Until next time.

One of the coolest scenes in the original Star Wars Trilogy involves a chase on speeder bikes, with Luke & Leia trying to battle Imperial Scout troopers.

In the near future, those hovering speeder bikes may very well be a reality.

Although the look is slightly different, a company in California has progressed further in this endeavor than most of the cool gadgets seen in Back To The Future.

Aerofex has created a working version of the tandem-duct aerial vehicle which they state has demonstrated “exceptional stability and control”.

As their website lists the future goals of the project as developing a “gust alleviation system, fail-safe capabilities, and techniques to reduce momentum drag in forward flight” and indicates the purpose of those developments as having uses in “manned craft, as well as UAVs”, it would appear that Aerofex is very serious about this Research & Development effort.

<meta itemprop="description" content="On this last flight of the test-bed before rework, the favorable downwash of ducted fans is clearly visible. Dust and debris are pushed away from the pilot, even while flying close to the ground. The ducts prevent tip vortices from forming and isolate the fans from the external flow field. The latter quality permits unperturbed flight around obstacles and when transitioning indoors. In contrast, the recirculating flow of open rotors has earned it a name, and the bane of pilots: "helicopter brownout" in the desert and "helicopter whiteout" in snow.">

I’ve always said that Thomas Jane played a great Punisher. He just suffered from a awful script. Now If we take the the script and style of the War Zone movie and put Jane in the lead role, War Zone would of been a sequel instead of a reboot. What made Thomas Jane a great Punisher to me was he has that dark, grim humor that Frank castle had in the comics. The voice was spot on for what you would think Castle would sound like. Body wise, he matched up and his portrayal pretty much was dead on.

But the one thing that assured me that Thomas Jane is The Punisher is the fan film that I saw just recently, called “Dirty Laundry”. this film is a very gritty telling of an hour in Frank Castle’s life. The fact that this movie was done without Castle ever having to grab a gun, perfectly fits the Punisher image. For those who have read the comic, Castle didn’t just use guns but everything around him, a good is example of that are the execution moves that were placed into The Punisher video game that was released a few years ago. The short also touches on Castle’s loner mentality as it seems as he almost doesn’t get involved with the drama unfolding until he is almost at a calm boiling point. What really surprised me was the guest appearance by Ron “Hellboy” Perlman as a disgruntled Vet in a wheel chair makes this that much more sweet. And the end in which he asked the main villain of the film “What’s the difference between justice and punishment?” is a classic castle move.

For those who have yet to see this short film I’m posting the link below. I would love to see what you think of it.
