The St Louis Cardinals have cemented in history the significance of Rally Squirrel.

If you watch much baseball, you’ve seen the video clip of the rodent rushing through the batter’s box during an at-bat. The occurrence was all over news reports – sports related and non. It showed up on a baseball card. And now it has a more prominent position.

The St Louis Cardinals World Series rings.

Credited as a rallying point and de facto mascot, the squirrel was deemed significant enough that it appears just below the team’s logo on the side of the diamond-encrusted ring.

Another interesting feature of the World Series rings is only visible when the ring isn’t being worn. On the inside portion of the ring, the logos of the Phillies, Brewers and Rangers are engraved, commemorating the teams which the Cardinals defeated in the Playoffs to win the World Series.
