Just when you thought you had heard the last of the Brett Favre NFL story, it appears that the record still has a skip in it.

That’s right, several media outlets are saying he’s considering a return, and the Philadelphia Eagles is his supposed team of choice this time. According to Howard Eskin (follow the link for his credentials), the Philadelphia Eagles would be interested in signing Brett Favre if they end up trading away (current Eagles backup QB) Kevin Kolb.

Michael Vick has already been quoted as saying he “be honored to have Brett Farve as a backup. That will be amazing Learning how to toy with defenses the way he did his whole career”. The tweet has since been deleted.

Andy Reid (current Eagles Head Coach) was a member of the coaching staff in Green Bay during part of Brett Favre’s tenure there.

We will report on more updates as they become available.
