Most fans of the Washington Redskins see the writing on the wall and feel as though Donovan McNabb is going to be OUT as the starting quarterback for the Burgundy & Gold.  There’s plenty of talk about whether or not Rex Grossman would be a good option to take the starting role, or what Cam Newton might bring if he gets drafted in April.

One thing I hadn’t heard much speculation about is the possibility of John Beck taking the starting role, but that could very well be a possibility.  He was brought to Washington by Allen & Shanahan for a reason, and if you listen to a recent interview on the LaVar Arrington & Chad Dukes radio show from 106.7 The Fan FM in DC where they spoke to John Beck, you get the idea that Beck is not only going to attempt to win the starting job, but he feels he has a very real shot at getting the opportunity to be under center next season.

Take a listen and see what you think about his confidence and the things he has to say, then vote in our poll!
