So this past weekend, me and Sir Camacho aka Mach, hit up Anime NEXT in NJ on Sunday. This is the first time we traveled to hit a Con on a Sunday. One of the reasons why we normally don’t do it, is because Sunday is usually the calm down day where things are wrapping up, so you don’t get to truly see what the Con is all about. This was true with the last day of AnimeNEXT.

But with that being said, I still found myself having fun and meeting some amazing Cosplayers and artist. While The floor itself didn’t allow for much room due to the concert area that was set up, those who choose to venture outside found a few more areas to have planned and unplanned photoshoots and talk and hang with a wide variety of Cosplayers. Me and Mach spent a long time outside between the two convention areas taking pictures and checking out all the photo shoots going on around us.

While being a bit squeezed in, I still enjoyed the great time I had on Sunday and ended up meeting with some great people. And with a line featuring Kira Buckland, C.R.A.Z.Y.O.T.A.K.U., Chipocrite, Charles Dunbar, Elisa, Flow, Todd Haberkorn, Naoto Hirooka, Takafumi Hori, Greg Houser, Michele Knotz, Shigeto Koyama, Matthew Lassiter, Brittany Lauda, Neil Nadelman, Tyson Rinehart, Jason Robinson, Bill Rogers, Sushio, Aya Suzuki, Marc Swint, Mike Toole, Uncle Yo, Vedetta Marie and Hiromi Wakabayashi there was truly something for everyone. I think AnimeNEXT has gotten to a point where they need to move into a bigger venue in order to properly do the things that they want to do and with the move to Atlantic City, I think that will happen. I see nothing but good things from this Con as it continues to grow.
