Now and again I go on iTunes and look for random podcasts, but it’s usually just Sports Talk radio that I look for – either DC sports or MMA talk – but the other day I went searching and I found The Nerdist, and I’m glad I did.
I downloaded two episodes, not sure what to expect, and I can’t explain why I started with the episode containing a Jon Hamm interview because I was mainly anticipating the one with Joel McHale, but I was pleasantly surprised.
It’s definitely not an interview for those who are offended by moderately crass conversation, but if you can overlook the R-Rated language and subject matter, you’re likely to be entertained and informed.

Prior to watching Mad Men, I had a decent respect for Jon Hamm, not the least of reasons being his ability to grow a beard. Having seen Mad Men, I respect his acting ability and I enjoy the Don Draper character he plays on the hit show. Hearing him on The Nerdist podcast takes him to the next level, and I highly suggest giving it a listen.
