Jason Momoa has portrayed some bad-ass guys. Khal Drogo on Game Of Thrones, Conan The Barbarian, and as Aquaman in an upcoming series of Justice League-related films. Now he’s taking on another bad-ass venture: he’s opening a brewery.
Another Michigan brewery is one Momoa picks as his favorite. “I’ve never been to a brewery where I liked every single beer, except for New Holland Brewing. Dragon’s Milk, Mad Hatter, Monkey King. Everything works.” A fan of farmhouse ales, pale ales, wheat beers and Guinness, perhaps Momoa will seek to brew a similar variety in this endeavor, and that’s just one of the reasons to hope his project succeeds. This brewery could help the revitalization of Detroit.
The building he purchased for his brewery is a 9,000 square-foot facility formerly used by General Motors. Being 100-years old, the building likely has plenty of character to its architecture, which should make for a great looking place in which to brew.
